Patricians - Eriksen
Previously... Not much. The Eriksens began to settle into city life in Rome, introducing their daughter Nicole to the heir apparent to the Empire and getting to know other neighbours. Babies Nero and Natalia joined the family near the end.
Despite Nicole's original reluctance to be forced into a relationship with Caden, she began to be won over by her parents' arguments. As Patricians, they had a reasonably nice home. The Emperor's Palace was magnificent. As Empress, she would have unbelievable power in the Empire. After all, everyone knows that a man is always truly ruled by his wife. Nicole imagined dinner parties, promotions for her father, and a chance to bed (admittedly one of the most) handsome men in the city. Caden's birthday had been widely celebrated by the entire Empire last month. Though Emperor Parker still appeared to be in healthy condition, Caden had reached adulthood and was being prepared to take on the mantle of responsibility. Nicole knew that he needed a beautiful wife by his side, and she was glad to be the woman.
Noelle was a social thing, excited to meet all the Patrician children (and many of the Plebeians as well). She brought someone home from school almost every day and particularly enjoyed spending time with the young Varinius Wood. Hans and Frieda smiled over this, plotting together to marry off another daughter.

Engagement
So another set of twins joined the family. This brings the total of male children to three, allowing the Eriksens to halt their child-bearing. One son was not nearly enough to continue the family name, especially when the Eriksens bring such needed fresh blood to the neighbourhood. Nicole and Caden's engagement was made official, and Noelle made good friends with Varinius Wood. Too bad for her he is the younger son and therefore not heir to the family estate... Or are things flexible in the Wood household? Read on to find out:
